We fetch the page once, read its HTML, and check it. Nothing is stored and nothing is emailed.

What this does and does not do

This is an automated check of a single page's HTML against fixed, published standards. It does not crawl your whole site, measure your rankings, judge whether your writing is any good, or tell you anything about your competitors. Every verdict below is derived from the page's own markup, so you can open your source and verify it yourself.

Why these fourteen checks

Most of what determines whether a small business site works is unglamorous and mechanical: does the page say what it is, can a phone render it, can a crawler read your business details, and is there a route into the rest of your site. Those are objective questions with objective answers, which is why they can be checked instantly and for free.

The things that are subjective — whether your pricing is competitive, whether your positioning is defensible, where the gaps in your market sit — cannot be answered by reading one page's HTML. That is the work our paid reports do.

This audit checks you against a standard. A teardown checks you against your competitors.

The audit above tells you whether your page meets fixed technical expectations. It cannot tell you what the other businesses in your market are doing, where they are stronger, or which gap is worth attacking. That is a $5 Competitor Teardown: five to eight competitors mapped, pricing and positioning broken down, every claim cited.
